Job Description:
A company is looking for a Mainframe Senior Software Engineer
responsible for solving complex issues and developing unique
solutions to enhance customer success.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test new features or product changes
Investigate, analyze, debug, and solve complex problems while
ensuring customer satisfaction
Create comprehensive internal and external Knowledge Base
documentation for use by customers and team members
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years' experience with IBM mainframes running z/OS
operating system
At least 5 years of experience with IBM z Assembly language;
knowledge of REXX and Cobol is beneficial
Strong debugging skills and experience with IPCS and reading system
dumps
Working knowledge of major z/OS ecosystem components such as JES,
DFSMS, and DB2
Proficient in systems tools and utilities like JCL and SDSF
