Performs a variety of imaging procedures not limited to CT, including general radiography and fluoroscopy. /n Job Requirements: /n/n Education and Work Experience: /n /n - Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Preferred /n /n/n/n Licenses/Certifications: /n /n - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) OR R.T. (R)(ARRT): Required /n - Radiologic Tech (RT) in the state of practice: Required in CA /n - Advanced Certification in the modality of CT: Required in OR and HI, Preferred in CA /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required /n - Fluoroscopy license in state of employment: Preferred in CA and OR /n - Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA and OR /n - ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R) or ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT): Required /n /n/n/n Facility Specific License/Certifications: /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification: Required /n - Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required /n /n/n/n Essential Functions: /n /n - Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric. /n - Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation. /n - Uses PACS and teleradiology system to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location. /n - Maintains accurate records, files and billing information.
