is seeking a Sr Principal Test Engineer IPTL level 4 to support a
sub project on the AARGM ER EMD program. This individual will be
the Integrated Product Team Lead for that project, and for the Test
and Evaluation department. This individual will be the Integrated
Product Team Lead for this project, and for the Test and Evaluation
department. This role will be working alongside engineers, program
managers, and the customer to support test campaigns testing our
systems. They will also be working in labs to prepare for test
events and upcoming flights. This candidate will also have customer
interaction to coordinate events on government facilities. The
qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test and
Evaluation Engineering department, Advanced Weapons division in
Northridge, CA . This role will be 100% on site without any hybrid
opportunities. An Active Government Secret Clearance is required to
start. Job Responsibilities : Develop solutions to test issues
Troubleshoot failures related to the unit under test Creating,
validating, and verifying test plan, procedures, and test reports
Use different applications in order to help perform analysis
Perform tests by following ATPs or technical memos to perform
evaluations. Work with internal and external customers to define
and document instrumentation, data requirements, and test planning
including acquisition, processing, and analysis to satisfy test
objectives Collaborate with different functions to achieve progress
in projects Take part and lead TRRs, FRRs, and other reviews
Present statuses and blockers to upper leadership. Work with the
CAM to ensure budget needs and accurate EACs Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or
Mathematics) with 8 years of experience OR a Master’s degree in a
STEM discipline with 6 years of experience. Experience in Flight
test execution Experience in system integration, qualification test
and requirements tracking Experience with using different test
equipment, i.e. oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer,
DMM, signal generator, power supplies Ability to read electrical
and mechanical schematics Able to communicate effectively and
clearly to present technical approaches and findings Experience
using Microsoft Office Current US Government DoD Secret security
clearance or higher. Preferred Qualifications: Designs, develops,
and implements testing methods and equipment Able to work
independently with minimal direction and act as team lead for
larger test efforts Digital and analog circuit troubleshooting
Previous work on DoD military development and production programs
Knowledge in environmental stress screening procedures
Troubleshooting in relation to RCCAs IPTL experience LI-MA. Primary
Level Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00 The above salary
range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman
considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers
such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the
candidate's experience, education, skills and current market
conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible
for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in
addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward
individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in
company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions
may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop
