Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time,
full school year contract position is available for a
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) located onsite in Indio, CA,
within the Coachella Valley area. This role prioritizes candidates
who can work onsite, with consideration given to Certified Fellows
(CFs). Bilingual Spanish skills are strongly preferred to better
serve the diverse student population. Key Qualifications and
Experience: Hold a Certificate of Clearance (COC) required for
California schools Valid Speech-Language Pathology license,
preferably with Certified Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience
working in schools, especially with the Special Education
Information System (SEIS) Familiarity with California Medicaid
billing, particularly Paradigm system, is preferred Ability to work
with students with mild to moderate speech-language needs as well
as some severe cases requiring AAC devices Willingness to work in
an itinerant role, covering multiple school sites as needed
Location: Position is onsite in Indio, CA, serving the Coachella
Valley Unified School District area Responsibilities: Conduct
speech and language evaluations and provide therapy services for
students with diverse communication needs Collaborate with
educators, parents, and specialists to develop and implement
Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate
documentation, including Medicaid billing where applicable Support
students using augmentative and alternative communication (AAC)
