Job Description Job Description Our client, a leading food manufacturing facility, is seeking a Food Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the production and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have problem-solving skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Technician Location: Torrance, CA Pay Range: $29- $36hr Shift: 1st and 2nd shift available What's the Job? Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical failures in production equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure food safety compliance. Read and interpret technical manuals, P&IDs, and schematics. Collaborate with production teams to support equipment operation and train associates on basic troubleshooting. Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete required documentation. What's Needed? 3–5 years of experience in food manufacturing or a similar industrial environment. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical controls, and automation. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation. Experience working with conveyors, ovens, and chilli mixers is preferred. Willingness to work 3rd shift and occasional overtime as needed. What's in it for me?
