Job Description Job Description Key Responsibilities Of This
Payroll Manager Position Include: Supervise, support, and mentor
one Payroll Specialist. Oversee the full payroll cycle from start
to finish, ensuring timely and accurate processing for 400
employees. Maintain up-to-date payroll records. Ensure adherence to
federal, state, and local payroll requirements, tax rules, and
internal control procedures. Administer payroll changes, special
payments, and reimbursements. Review and process gratuities and
supplemental compensation. Generate payroll summaries, analytical
reports, and reconciliation data for leadership. Minimum
Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting, business
administration, or related field is a plus. 5 years of hands-on
experience Payroll processing. Proficientcy using Workday
(preferred but not required). Strong communication skills; Spanish
is a preferred but not required. Prior leadership experience
overseeing payroll staff. Strong understanding of employment laws
at the federal, state, and local levels. Proficiency in MS Word,
Excel, HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and report creation.
